Project Details
Overview
I worked with a team of classmates to develop a proposal for a digital product, focused on any topic of our choosing. The project placed emphasis on designing for branding, service and interaction.

User Research
Overview
After establishing that our group wanted to create a task managing application, we did some research to determine a user group which we could design for within this space. This research led us towards neurodivergent individuals. We wanted to create a task manager that could truly help users that have a hard time organizing their daily lives with conventional methods.
Personas and Scenarios
To further our research and ground our design process, we developed these three personas and scenarios as users for whom we think Hurdle would be a good fit.
Touchpoints
Overview
The infrastructure of our concept needed to be easily divided into touchpoints and modes of reach in order to clearly establish the scope of this project. We discussed and iterated what these touchpoints would look like for each of our three pillars: brand, interaction and service design.

The Brand
Ideation
When determining the brand aspects of Hurdle, we initially planned for there to be three animal coaches for different levels of intervention intensity and frequency. We decided to eliminate these extra mascots and focus solely on Frog because our research determined that having too many variables may confuse or overwhelm our neurodivergent user base.

The Service
Service Blueprint Ideation
I spent a lot of my time working on the user-flows and service infrastructure of Hurdle. Some questions I considered when designing were: How would users find Hurdle? At what point were they downloading Hurdle applications? Is the flow of our application ecosystem intuitive and easy to use? How does Hurdle fit within the context of the world and educational institutions?
